About the Campaign
In October, 2017, a DWC team is going to Nepal to build a home for a family of seven that is currently living in a squalid shelter of tin, wood scraps and sheets. Natasha Dresler will be on that team. You can help her get there. Donations of $20 CDN or more are eligible for a tax receipt.
For as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of volunteering abroad and helping those in need. With your support, I can once again help a family gain some semblance of security.
For my fifth international volunteer trip, I will travel to Nepal to help Badhudal Chaudhary, his wife and their five children who were made homeless by the 2015 earthquake. Badhudal and his family lack the safety and security of even the most modest of homes but together we can make a difference.
Together, we will provide more than a house, we will provide the peace of mind that every family deserves.
I remember my first trip fondly; the people, the culture, the hard work, laughter and camaraderie. To know you are easing some of the burden while ensuring a family has a safe place to raise their kids has left an indelible mark on me.
I am beyond grateful to anyone who is able to donate to help make this trip possible. I truly appreciate your support and encourage you to get in touch should you have any questions.
